The post Floyd Mayweather Drops More than $1M on Super Bowl Suite appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>Mayweather, 46, was among the highest-paid athletes during his active years and has habitually used social media to flaunt his extravagant expenditures. They include the $6.4M hes spent on luxury watches, the $10M he shelled out for ex-fiance Shantel Jacksons engagement ring, and the $600K he spent to fly 300 friends and family members to his 2013 fight against Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas.
Are tickets to the first Las Vegas Super Bowl really so hard to come by that even sports celebrities like Mayweather cant find comps?
No. Mayweather for sure could have landed free seats for himself and a handful or two of his friends. The NFL, just like all event promoters, reserves a cache of house seats just for celebrities and their last-minute requests.
However, Mayweathers suite holds 34 people, which might have been a tall order to comp, even for someone of his renown.
More importantly, Mayweather appears to have paid mostly for bragging rights. Check out his Instagram caption
I dont kiss a** and I never have to beg for nothing especially not to get a Super Bowl suite. I dont mind accepting invites at times, but one things for sure The person thats paying does all the saying. Therefore I get My Own seats and suites so I can do what I want and invite who I want! Im blessed to be taking 34 people to experience the 1st Super Bowl in Las Vegas!
According to multiple reports, Super Bowl LVIII — in which the San Francisco 49ers will take on last years champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, as Taylor Swift watches from the stands — will be the most expensive Super Bowl of all time to watch in person.
Even nosebleed seats are averaging $8,600 each, with suites like Mayweathers going for as much as $2.5M.
Looks like Money Mayweather got in while that suite was a bargain!

]]>The post Drake Reportedly Loses $1.3M Payout on Logan Paul Boxing Match appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>The bet was purportedly made on the online gambling platform Stake.com, where Drake is an ambassador. While the details of the bet are speculative, the rumored success adds a new layer to Drake’s ventures beyond the music industry.
This triumph comes in the wake of a less fortunate gambling streak for the rapper. Reports suggest that Drake faced substantial losses in bets last year, tallying up to more than $4 million. Some reports say he wagered more than $2 billion in two months. The ups and downs of celebrity gambling aren’t uncommon, and Drake’s recent win highlights the unpredictable nature of sports betting.
Earlier this year, the rapper reportedly placed bets on Jake Paul, Logan’s brother. It was a highly anticipated bout against Tommy Fury in February that, unfortunately for Drake, led to a million-dollar loss when the younger Paul brother lost.
Drake’s willingness to engage in substantial bets on both established and emerging figures in the boxing world showcases the evolving intersection of entertainment, sports, and betting. While the rapper’s financial gains and losses in the betting realm add an element of intrigue to his public persona, there have been rumors that many online betting platforms cut deals with their ambassadors and other social media personalities to fix the numbers.
The platforms will allegedly give the personality digital credits with which they can place their wagers. The amounts of the bets and the winnings, or losses, are only visual effects that have no real monetary value.
There’s no concrete evidence that this is the case with Drake and Stake.com. As the details continue to unfold and the world awaits confirmation from Drake or his representatives, this latest chapter in the rapper’s gambling journey adds an extra layer of fascination to his multifaceted career.
FanDuel had Paul at -490 to win the bout, with Danis getting +400. However, Drake could have won big if he had bet on Bodog. The platform reportedly had Danis at odds of +500 to attempt a guillotine, and +800 to get disqualified.
Paul and Danis attracted attention for the boxing match they had at the AO Arena in the city of Manchester, England. Both had a score to settle as a result of their long-running war of words, which started in 2018 when Danis verbally attacked Paul following a bout the latter had just completed.
After years of verbal sparring, the two finally got into the ring on Saturday to settle their differences.
The fight went sideways in the sixth round when Danis apparently forgot in which sport he was fighting. The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, making his debut in the boxing ring, fell to the canvas and then tried to put Paul into submission with a guillotine.
While acceptable in the octagon, it’s against the rules in boxing. Paul responded with a quick succession of blows that hit his opponent’s face until the referee stepped in and broke them up.
At the same time, both corners exploded. Trainers and security crew came out of everywhere and started their own melee in the ring. The judges disqualified Danis and handed the victory to Paul.
Danis was almost certainly going to lose anyway. Paul had dominated every round up to that point and was closing in for the kill shot. He could have landed a blow to Danis that would have resulted in a TKO or KO if it weren’t for his opponent’s loss of cognitive functions.
What’s next for the MMA fighter is clear and perhaps more his speed. He tweeted on X Sunday morning, “UFC next.”

]]>The post Drake Bets Big on Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz Fight and Misses appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>Drake supposedly took a loss of $250K thanks to the defeat of Daz at the hands of YouTuber Jake Paul. Diaz was a formidable UFC fighter before deciding to try his skills as a pugilist.
Prior to the fight, and as he has done with many other sporting events, Drake published his Stake.com betting ticket, showing that he was backing Daz. The ticket includes an admission that the Way 2 Sexy singer can never bet against a Daz brother, even if his opponent is a better choice.
Before the fight, Paul reacted on Instagram to Drake’s move with a violent image where he appears holding the decapitated head of Daz. In the post, Paul also left a message for the rapper assuring him that he “was losing his money.” He wasnt wrong.
Despite the fact that Drake had previously expressed his admiration for the Paul brothers’ boxing prowess, a victory by Daz would have tripled his investment. Going into Saturdays match, Daz was an underdog, with sportsbooks giving him around +340 against Pauls -440.

The fight between Daz and Paul went the distance, leaving the outcome in the hands of the judges, and a key knockdown Paul delivered in the fifth round helped give him a boost. The judges scored the 10-round match with cards of 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91 in Paul’s favor.
Drake has experienced several six-figure financial losses betting on boxing and MMA. Two of these include Jorge Masvidal’s match against Colby Covington and Justin Gaethje’s loss in his championship fight against Charles Oliveira.
In the fight between Paul and Tommy Fury, Drake reportedly lost $400K. He had backed the content creator, who was undefeated until that bout.
Its not just hand-to-hand combat Drake likes. He has a history of reportedly placing big-money wagers on the NFL and other sports.
Despite Paul’s success in his boxing career, there have been controversies and accusations surrounding the authenticity of his fights. Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis has been particularly vocal about match-fixing claims.
The night of celebration and excitement that followed Paul’s victory over Daz was marred by a violent incident involving a group of spectators. Moments after the YouTuber-turned-boxer scored his unanimous decision over the MMA legend, some fans decided to test their own fighting skills, sparking a series of chaotic brawls at the event venue.
The altercation left images of fists flying, shirts torn off, and mob brawls involving about a dozen people. While some watched with laughter and amazement, others expressed disappointment at the situation that was unfolding. There was apparently no security presence observed at the scene, further aggravating the situation.
One of the most shocking moments was when one individual knocked another down and hit him on the back of the head against the marble floor. In addition, a two-on-one confrontation was witnessed near a stanchion, where a man attempted to kick two others involved in the fight.

]]>The post VEGAS MYTHS BUSTED: Floyd Mayweather Witnessed Tupac Shakurs Murder appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>A car pulled up right here and shot Tupac at this light and went that way, the former world champ tells film director John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood) in the clip posted by Twitter user @DailyLoud.
In the 17-second video, which generated more than 10 million views in three days, Mayweather points out where a reported white Cadillac was when the fatal shots rang out, and the direction it sped off in.
I aint never told nobody, Mayweather confides in Singleton. Only the closest people with me know.
Check out the footage for yourself.
This is not only the most recently hatched Vegas myth this series has tackled in more than a year on the beat. Its also the easiest to bust.
Mayweather never claimed to have actually witnessed Shakur’s murder in the video, which was originally shot at least nine years ago. All he said was: I was living right here in 1996 when Tupac got killed, right here.
Where he lived at the time was the secret only his closest friends knew about.
In an attempt to chase clicks, however, @DailyLoud titled its video Floyd Mayweather says he witnessed Tupacs murder in Las Vegas.
Several illegitimate news websites, none of which deserve to be mentioned here, ran with the misrepresentation. Chasing their own clicks, they published what they claimed was a brand new, bombshell scoop.
Apparently, Mayweather was so besieged with calls and emails from friends and family members, as well as news websites and YouTube channels seeking comment, he took to Instagram to release a statement on July 27.
All of these false accusations stem from me sharing the location of the shooting with John Singleton due to my familiarity of the area since I lived there, the statement read. “This does not mean I witnessed Tupacs shooting.
Mayweather continued: “John Singleton was making a documentary or movie about Tupac, so he reached out to me asking where Flamingo (Road) and Koval (Lane) was located. The location of Tupacs shooting is public knowledge and me living near there was just a coincidence.
“I did not witness Tupac Shakurs death.”
Of the illegitimate news sites that bothered updating their reports with Mayweather’s statement, nearly all covered their backsides by claiming that Mayweather “changed his story.”
Tupac Shakur was shot and killed on Sept. 7, 1996, while being driven west on Flamingo Road by his friend, Death Row Records founder Suge Knight. They were headed from a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand to a nightclub.
The white Cadillac pulled up to the right of Knight’s BMW with three or four men inside.
One passenger stuck a weapon out of the back window and fired at least 13 rounds into the side of Knights car. Shakur was hit four times in the chest.
Shakur was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center, where he was heavily sedated, rushed into surgery, and slipped into a coma until he was removed from life support and died on Sept. 13, 1996.
He was 25 years old.
Though Shakur’s killer remains a mystery, as no suspects were ever arrested, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reactivated the case on July 17, 2023, searching the Henderson, Nev. home of Duane Keith Keffe D Davis.
Davis, 60, was the uncle of Orlando Anderson, Shakurs long-suspected killer, who died in a 1998 gang-related shooting.

]]>The post Jake Paul Wants to Silence Doubters in Cruiserweight Bout With Tommy Fury appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>It appears the third time is the charm for Jake Paul and Tommy Fury to meet up in the boxing ring.
The two, both social media stars and budding fighters, are scheduled to fight Sunday in Saudi Arabia. While its not a title bout, the World Boxing Council (WBC) has created a special belt for the match, claiming in a statement its a way to recognize the importance of the bout that continues to support the growth of our sport by attracting thousands of new viewers.
And even though the bout is scheduled for eight rounds, the WBC said the winner of the match will be ranked in its cruiserweight division. Both fighters are undefeated, and both have registered four knockouts in their bouts.
Fury and Paul initially agreed to fight each other in December 2021. However, Fury broke a rib in training, forcing him to withdraw from the fight. They rescheduled it for August at Madison Square Garden. Then, the US would not allow Fury to enter the country.
Sunday’s bout was officially announced a month ago.
Paul (6-0), a former child actor now followed by millions on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, said in the final pre-match press conference that hes excited to square off against Fury, because he believes it gives him a chance to quiet his doubters. Critics have pointed out that his previous fights have been against former MMA stars or other athletes and not boxers. In addition, Anderson Silva, Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and Tyron Woodley C who has fought Paul twice C all were much older than the 26-year-old.
Paul, in a Thursday press conference with Fury (8-0), admitted his critics are right about that, but that also makes this fight against the 23-year-old Fury so important.
I always take every fight seriously… So, when Tommy says that hes been doing this his whole life, none of that means anything to me,” Paul told reporters. “Ive always trained harder and tougher than all of my opponents. And I want it more. I have more of a why. I have more of a purpose. Im Tommys end goal. This is the biggest opportunity of his life. Hes never been on a stage like this.”
And Paul added Thursday that hes studied his opponent carefully in the ring. Fury has a great jab and moves well, but he also makes a lot of mistakes, according to Paul.
According to the tale of the tape, Pauls an inch taller than the 6-foot Fury, but Furys 80-inch reach is four inches longer than Pauls.
Fury is the younger brother of current lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, and he has visions of becoming a title holder too. The younger Fury has some of the bravado of his older brother, telling Paul during the presser that he should have stuck to making easy money fighting old men and celebrities.
Fury, who starred on Great Britains version of the reality show Love Island, also expects a quick bout.
Youre getting put to sleep inside four rounds, Fury told his opponent. Let me tell you, Im not an old man. Im a fresh, young fighter. Im going to put you away.
Fury might be younger and the first real boxer Paul has faced. Still that hasnt stopped oddsmakers from installing Paul as the favorite.
However, if youre looking to place a bet on the fight in a licensed US sportsbook, you might not have much of a selection. Or any at all.
A search of licensed sites found that Betfreds Ohio app had Paul as a slight (-143) favorite. That means a $143 wager would net a $100 profit. Furys available at +113, meaning a $100 bet would net a profit of $113.
Out in Arizona, Unibet also has Paul at -143, but its odds on Fury are a little higher, at +116. BetMGM in that state has it at -135 for Paul, even money for Fury.
In Nevada, Circa Sports makes Paul a -155 favorite, with Fury available at +135 as of Saturday afternoon.
DraftKings is taking wagers on the bout in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Oregon, and Wyoming. As of Sunday morning (ET), DraftKings offered Paul at -155 and Fury at +125.
One sports betting operator that wont offer odds on the fight is Betr, the microbetting app Paul co-founded with Joey Levy less than a year ago. Right now, Betr, licensed in Ohio, only offers in-game betting markets on basketball, baseball, and football games.
In the US, the Paul-Fury fight card will air on ESPN+ pay-per-view. The cost is $49.99. The broadcast starts at 2 pm ET, but the Paul-Fury fight will likely start about a couple of hours later.

]]>The post Las Vegas Date Set for Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia Boxing Superfight appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>Davis confirmed the news on Friday by tweeting: “April 22, 2023 Las Vegas Its on! ?#DavisGarcia GOOOOO.”
Davis, 28, is the WBA world lightweight champion with a record of 28-0 and 26 wins by knockout. Though he stands only 5-foot-5, he is one of boxings hardest punchers, succeeding in the super featherweight, lightweight, and super lightweight divisions.
Garcia, 24, is 23-0 with 19 KOs. He will enjoy a 5-inch advantage in height, as well as 3 inches in reach. However, he has not fought since July 15, 2022, when he knocked out Javier Fortuna in the 6th round at Crypto.com Arena in LA.
The two popular boxers agreed to fight at a catch weight of 136 pounds.
According to boxingnews24.com, Davis is earning most of the money for their first match, but Garcia plans to receive a better deal in the rematch by winning — an outcome that most boxing fans dont expect to happen.
This match has been years in the making, with both knockout artists calling for it while accusing the other of ducking out. After finally agreeing this past November, Davis fought one interim bought, defeating Hector Luis Garcia by a 9th-round technical knockout on January 8 at Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC.
Oscar De La Hoyas Golden Boy Promotions proposed a fight for Garcia against Mercito Gesta (33-3-1, 17 KOs) on January 28. However, Garcia opted to keep his eyes on the bigger prize.
After photos surfaced of Garcia training, Davis accused his opponent of using performance-enhancing drugs. He never look that big before, Davis wrote in a now-deleted tweet. He definitely on something.
Davis is no stranger to out-of-the-ring controversy himself. On February 16, he pleaded guilty in a Baltimore courtroom to four motor vehicle charges related to a hit-and-run in November 2020. (He wont be sentenced until after May 5, though, so his sentence wont interfere with the fight.)

]]>Media reports Friday indicated the two sides have agreed to an eight-round fight on Feb. 26 in Saudi Arabia at 185 pounds.
The two undefeated fighters were supposed to meet in December 2021. But that was scrubbed after Fury came down with an illness. An attempt to fight last August at Madison Square Garden got nixed after Fury had issues entering the US.
Not surprisingly, both fighters have hyped the fight on their social media accounts. Fury doing so on Instagram, and Paul on Twitter and Instagram, referring to his opponent as Fumbles in an Instagram post.
Fumbles has no excuses now, Paul said. Baby is born. Money is massive. Immigration is not an issue.
In the States, the fight will air on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) January 27, 2023
Both fighters are known as much for their exploits outside the ring as they are for their work in it.
Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is 8-0 in his career, with four knockouts. He last fought in April in an undercard bout prior to Tyson Fury knocking out Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
Tommy Fury also was a contestant on the British version of Love Island. He and his partner, Molly-Mae Hague, were the runners-up in the 2019 season of the reality TV show. Fury also has broad appeal on social media, as his Instagram account reaches 4.3 million followers.
Paul, a former child actor, has an even bigger following on social media. He boasts 21.8 million followers on Instagram, 20.3 million subscribers on YouTube, and 4.5 million followers on Twitter.
Last year, Paul made news by joining with Joey Levy to create Betr, an online sports betting company thats focused on micro-betting, or in-game wagers. The $50 million startup launched earlier this month in its first state, Pauls home state of Ohio.
Besides the micro-betting focus, Betr also seeks to leverage Pauls social media stature to help acquire customers through original online content.
Paul, who has four knockouts in his six wins, also has other ventures. That includes his own fight promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions.
After a search of some American operators, it doesnt appear that wagering on the fight is available in the US just yet. However, according to Oddschecker, there are several British books taking bets.
For now, all of them have Paul as the slight favorite. That’s despite Paul having a reputation for not facing real boxers. His previous opponents include former UFC fighters Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, and former NBA guard Nate Robinson.
Pauls odds range from 1.67 at Boyle Sports to 1.5 at bet365. Those decimal odds are equal to roughly -150 to -200. Odds for Fury right now range from 2.2 at Boyle, the equivalent of +120, to 2.63 (or +163) at bet365 and SkyBet.
Oddsmakers also believe the fight will last all eight rounds, with Betfair and PaddyPower offering -250 for the fight to end with a decision. SkyBet offers -175 on that scenario.

]]>Schofield, the undefeated American champ, will exchange blows with his Mexican rival in a duel scheduled for eight rounds in the lightweight division. This will be the star fight of a card at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indian, CA.
The fight is organized by Golden Boy Promotions, former boxer Oscar De La Hoyas fight promotion company. Boxing fans will be able to catch all of the action if they have access to DAZN.
This Wednesday, the official weigh-in of this card took place, with Schofield marking 134.8 pounds. Rosas stopped the pendulum at 132 pounds.

Over/under 2.5 rounds | -135 | +105 |

Schofield comes into this match with a record of 11-0, with nine knockouts. He will headline a card that finds him making only his second fight with Golden Boy Promotions. The 20-year-old fighter, born in New Jersey and based in Austin, Texas, has been setting the boxing world on fire.
Already this year, he has climbed into the ring three times. These led to wins by knockout in the first round against Julio Sanchez, by knockout in the sixth round against Juan Antonio Lopez, and by technical knockout in the fifth round against Rodrigo Guerrero.
Rosas, with a record of 22-5-1 and 14 KOs, is no easy target. He turned pro at super flyweight and is a 15-year veteran in the ring. He showed early promise by beating future super flyweight champion Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. by KO early in his career.
He followed that up by taking down future two-time world title challenger Felipe Orucuta and another former 115-pound champion, Juan Alberto Rosas. Both were unanimous decisions.
However, Rosas has also felt what its like on the other side of the gloves. In his last appearance against former WBO super featherweight titleholder Lamont Roach, he went down in the second round. That brought an end to the match.
Hes had some time to recover. That bout was in July of last year, and hes been looking for an opportunity to prove himself ever since.
In the main undercard bout, former Mexican world champion Anabel Ortiz takes on Guatemalan Maria Santizo. Ortiz, whose record stands at 32-5 and four KOs, fought Cindy Corona Chavez last month. She took that bout by unanimous decision following a hard battle from both corners.
? | Anabel Ortiz | Maria Micheo Santizo |

That gave 36-year-old Ortiz a much-needed boost. In a fight for the WBC flyweight title at the beginning of the year, she lost by unanimous decision to Marlen Esparza.
Ortiz, weighing in at 108 pounds for tonights match, held the WBA 105-pound title for years, successfully defending it 12 times. However, she finally lost to Seniesa Estrada in March of last year.
37-year-old Santizo, with a 10-1 record and 6 KOs, also knows what its like to go up against Estrada. Last December, in another WBA title fight, the 106.6-pound fighter took a fourth-round KO to end the bout.
However, she didnt stay down. Earlier this month, she defeated Maria de Lourdes Garcia in the fifth round. Santizo is now ready to prove that the loss was just a fluke.

]]>The post Oscar De La Hoya to Become Las Vegas Resident, Joining Archrival appeared first on Casino.org.
]]>De La Hoya’s 10,460-square-foot house is scheduled to be completed next year. Clark County property records show that the champ paid $14.6M in cash to its Las Vegas-based builder, Blue Heron Homes. According to Forbes, De La Hoya earned $500M during his 39-6-0 career, and is currently worth a cool $200M.
Like Mayweather, De La Hoya has entered a second career as a boxing promoter. And, as boxing promoters, it makes sense for both of them to reside in Las Vegas. However, is it possible De La Hoya purposefully chose this exclusive hillside Henderson enclave for its considerable distance from Mayweather’s home?
With sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding mountains, De La Hoyas sprawling one-story home will boast five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two powder rooms, and an eight-car garage. According to the listing that described the property as having a statement entrance with a water feature and porte-cochere with a modern twist, it will feature 8,051 square feet of sleek, glass-walled interior space and 2,409 square feet of exterior space.
You can be relatively certain it will also eventually feature a boxing ring.
Mayweather lives about as far away from MacDonald Highlands as it’s possible to live and still be in the Las Vegas Valley C nearly 30 miles. So, unfortunately for their neighbors, they will probably never get to witness the two former foes accidentally running into each other at the local Starbucks.
Mayweather paid $10M for a 16,357-square-foot mansion in Queensridge, in the northwest valley, in 2018.
Mayweather became a boxing superstar by beating the heavily favored De La Hoya by a split decision on May 5, 2007, at the MGM Grand. The two have maintained an intense professional rivalry since. (Not to stir that rivalry up again, but Celebritynetworth lists Mayweather’s assets at $450M and his earnings, during his superior 50-0-0 career, as an astounding $1.1B C yes, “B.”)
The two former rivals seem to have hung up the gloves with each other, though. Last year, De La Hoya told Fighthype.com: “We fought each other, and there’s this bad blood, but that’s in the past. I definitely feel that I beat him, but with all of that bad blood and animosity, let’s just hold. Recently, just several months ago, I literally wished him all the best.”
De La Hoya said the two may even collaborate on Mayweather’s previously expressed intention to bring an NBA team to Las Vegas.
“Maybe we can join up and become a powerhouse there and help bring a team to the home that we built,” De La Hoya said. “We built Las Vegas — literally [with our fights throughout the years].
While he’s no longer active in the boxing game, former heavyweight champion “Iron Mike” Tyson is also a long-time Vegas resident who dabbles in boxing promotion, and who can often be seen around town.
Tyson, who earned a reported $400 million throughout his legendary career, lives in a 10,400-square-foot, six-bedroom estate in Henderson’s Seven Hills neighborhood that he purchased for $2.5 million in 2015, according to the New York Post.
